Film Career Opportunities in Glasgow
As Silly Wee Films continues to add films to our production slate we will from time to time look for confident and reliable filmmakers to collaborate with us on our projects.
We have just finished filming our first Hi-Def short film, "I Heart You", and we have a planned HD feature film in 2010 currently in post production.
If you are looking for experience, and looking to join a hard working, dedicated, fun crew of filmmakers, and you want to help make as many great films as possible in Scotland then contact us at careers@sillyweefilms.com with your CV, and as many examples of your work as possible.
We will post any positions available on this page, so please keep an eye on it.

Production Assistant
Silly Wee Films is currently in pre-production of their first feature film, a sci-fi drama set in Glasgow. Filming will be taking place at weekends between June and August next year. Casting notices will be made available at the start of December with auditions in January so I am looking for a keen, determined production assistant to help organise all applications for the auditions. During filming you will be working with my current production assistant to help with call sheets, scheduling and working as a runner on the film. Excellent experience for someone just starting out. You will be entitled to travelling expenses once the filming is complete, a copy of the film once it's finished and the chance of future work.
Costume Department
If you think you are good at organising costume design, costumes for characters and taking charge of costumes for a production we are currently looking for such a person for our feature film in 2010
Behind the Scenes
With our planned feature film due to start filming from June til August 2010 we are looking for a filmmaker or a small crew to follow the production and put together a documentary for the DVD.
